I have seen DPS pulling people over in a Black unmarked Ford F250. The lights are in the back window and on the rearview mirror. City of phoenix is also using a black Ford F150 with the same lights.

Pair of motorcycle officers lurk in a small pull-in about 100 yards south of Thunderbird, on college side, aiming for northbound traffic. Not visible until they own you.

Went 74 in 45 busted and arrested me.

Motorcycle police sit just off the overpass and use either radar or laser (unsure) to trap you on your way down. Generally traffic picks up on the ramp especially on the way down but careful they have picked me up once on this and I’ve seen others multiple times.

Between 51st to 67th Ave, Peoria to Cactus, there is an unmarked GPD car that practices traffic enforcement late at night, typically around 4AM. Days are random. Typically uses pacing method, but have seen radar used. Have seen it several times with people pulled over along with other marked cars in the area practicing traffic enforcement.
