Bellflower, California Speed Traps

Ernie Pyle Elementary school is located on a large busy street (Woodruff). Two police units work Woodruff ave in the morning near the school and ticket drivers going the normal speed limit (45). It would be dangerous to drive 25 on this street at any time.

This isn’t exactly a speed trap, but a left turn trap. If your going south on Lakewood and make a left turn into Norms you will cross 2 yellow lines…go to the corner and make a u turn so you don’t cross over those lines

Motorcycle Cop hides in the school parking lot behind the front office waiting to catch speeders, loud music or any other traffice violations. Becareful. They can usually be found hiding during weekdays, and most weekend nights.

Bellflower cops waiting in center divider for drivers turning right off the offramp when there is a no right on red light! Wait for the green to go no matter how light the traffic is.

North of Clark and Alondra Blvd., on top of a hill, there are usually two motorcycle cops that hide and catch people, usually during the weekend mornings.
