Chino, California Speed Traps
Chino Hills Parkway before Monte Vista
SBC Sheriff officers hide on south dirt portion of Monte Vista Ave trapping speeders going eastbound on chino hills prkwy towards chino
Ramona Ave and Riverside Dr
Police will park on the northwest corner at the dairy and wait for people to blow the light coming South on Ramon Ave.
On Highway 83 (Which is Euclid Ave.) at Prado Park
Chino Police sit with Patrol car lights off at Prado Park and will ticket cars going Southbound toward Hwy. 71. You don’t need to be speeding to be pulled over since Chino Police will come up with any speed. Watch for this at night and early a.m. according to Chino Police Chief an officer will pull out his taser gun to demonstrate the function of the Lidar device, as a matter of customer service. I wonder what else the Chino Police Department does to the public?
Riverside Drive
Between Mountain Ave. and Benson the speed limit is 40mph , just West of Benson the speed limit changes to 35mph. A cop usually is on the left, if you are driving west, just after you pass the speed zone sign. I have seen cars ticketed at all times of the day.
Central Avenue near State Highway 60
Northbound Central at Hwy60 Westbound offramp. Motor officer will park on the sidewalk near Kinkos and agressively tickets people running the "pink" light exiting the freeway onto Southbound Central as well as speed on Northbound Central. Heavy traffic on Central at the freeway means that you have to REALLY be in a hurry to get popped, but it happens all the time.
