Folsom, California Speed Traps
intersection of white rock rd and scott rd
A Folsom City motorcycle policeman frequently parks adjacent to the cattle loading chute on what appears to be private property at the intersection of White Rock Rd and Scott Rd in Sacramento County . He is physically ( approximately) 200 yards outside ( south) the Folsom City limits and uses a radar gun to catch speeders traveling from Folsom on Scott rd . By setting up his radar equipment outside his jurisdiction isn’t it an illegal speed trap?
Heading S on Auburn Folsom Blvd, intersection with Madison
Coming up to the intersection of Auburn Folsom and Madison, heading south, CHP and Folsom PD motorcycle officers like to hide in the bushes of the 76 station and watch for speeders or anyone running the light. Heading South, you will not see them until you have passed by the officer. This is apparently a ticket rich location.
Grover Between Iron Point & Russi
Motorcycle Cop hides on side streets off Grover.
Since it is the street leading to Folsom High School they are watching for those
of us that like California stops!
