Folsom, California Speed Traps

A motorcycle Folsom cop sits in the driveway of an office park and using radar nabs those drivers coming down the hill speeding.

Prior to Greenback Ln and Oak Ave, speed limit is 50 mph; however, it drops to 40 mph between the two streets for about 1-2 blocks. Noticed a motorcycle cop on the corner of Folsom Auburn Rd and Greenback Ln in front of gas station checking speed of vehicles coming off American River Bridge. Officers often patrol this area throughout the day. High enforcement. Speed limit not completely unjustifiably. Just no opportunity for a gradual reduction in speed (e.g. 50 to 45 to 40)

A Folsom PD motorcycle unit surveys the traffic flow going thru intersection. Be careful since you may be pulled over for any traffic violation suh as speeding, running red/yellow light etc.

CHP unit on the shoulder left to the pool lane. Seems like they enforce pool lane only.

Motorcycle Cop likes to hide on the parking lot and shoots radar.
