Granada Hills, California Speed Traps
Balboa Boulevard near Plummer Street
Traveling South-bound on Balboa Blvd. from Plummer Street as you start to desend, the first street South of Plummer,"Prairie Street" a motor cycle officer awaits, on the West side of "Prairie" street off of Balboa, with radar in hand. Any time of day. He is out in the open, plain to see, but only when, his lights are flashing behind you. UGH! Too late!
Balboa southbound just before Sesnon.
A downhill stetch of road where the motorcycle cop waits in a partially hidden area.
Zelzah southbound between Rinaldi and San Fernando Mission
This part of the street is basically downhill. There is one part of the road where you drop down quickly, and it’s easy to gain speed. The motorcycle officer hides in the shadows of a driveway at the base of the hill where speed is the greatest. Very common to see cars pulled over just past San Fernando Mission.
Zelza Between Chatsworth & Devonsure
A cop sits in front of Granada Hills High school at the end of the month getting not only people for speeding, but moms for droping off kids at school and kids for crossing the street. He is no a nice guy ether wouldnt let a girl of for going 5 over the limit becasue she was late to school.
