As you leave Castro Valley on Center St. heading to Hayward right after you cross Grove Way you decend a steep hill. CHP and Sheriff sit at the bottom of the hill every week usually between 9 am and noon. Speed limit is 25
Huntwood Avenue near Whipple Avenue
As you turn onto Huntwood from Whipple the speed limit drops from 40 mph to 30 mph. This is a 4 lane wide street in an industrial area. Within the first block there is usually a unit parked hidden, or a motorcycle unit in view. They constantly work the stretch between Whipple and Industrial Pkwy.
