CHP sits on the eastbound I-8 onramp at Severin Drive in La Mesa (entering El Cajon). He’s impossible to see until after you have passed the ramp at which time, he’s already got your speed and is driving down the ramp to intercept you. This onramp is just beyond the SR-125 interchange aka the "Grossmont Summit."

CHP parks in the center divide between Grossmont College Drive and Fletcher Parkway driving southbound on the SR-125. He is obscured by the guard rails and by the time you see him, he will have already clocked your speed. There is a small gap between the guard rails that allows him to park out of easy view.

Motorcycle CHP officer parks on the Northbound SR-125 underneath the Fletcher Parkway overpass. He blends in with the overpass support. He catches people merging on to the Northbound 125 from the I-8. There’s a slight bend driving down to the state route and it’s easy to exceed the 65 MPH speed limit. Be careful.

Lake Murray Boulevard near 70th Street

Motorists traveling southbound on Lake Murray Blvd., just north of the I-8 (70th Street Off Ramp) will find a motorcycle cop sitting in the center divide gunning people as they come down the hill. It is very easy to exceed the 35 MPH speed limit in this area. Usually, the cop (from La Mesa Police) is there for the morning rush hour and in the afternoons.
