In the West side Costco parking lot near Starbucks

Lodi, CaliforniaApr 02, 20140 Comments

Two motorcycles watch for East bound vehicles on Harney lane. If they get a red light, especially if their are no crossing vehicles, many unsuspecting motorists will make a U turn into the Costco parking lot just before reaching the stop light. The Lodi cops take advantage of the poorly times traffic light that can force you to wait 5 minutes with zero crossing traffic.

Highway 5 between Kettleman lane/Hwy 12 and 8 mile road

I have seen mulitple Highway patrol men giving tickets going south bound on 5

On Tienda Drive between Mills and Target parking lot.

Three motorcycle cops sit on Tienda Drive just where the road jogs slightly, and you don’t see them before it is too late. They are on the side of the street opposite the school sitting with their radar guns. The speed limit is only 25 MPH and most people exceed that speed, so it is like shooting fish in a barrel. Just slightly exceeding the speed limit like I did was pretty expensive.

All over Targets Teen cars

Lodi, CaliforniaApr 05, 20101 Comments

I have lived in Lodi for over 40 years and have only been ticketed twice my entire life for anything…both in Lodi in what looked like a hot rod (but couldnt even hit 60) Lodi is known for targeting ANY car that looks modified for speed and/or a teenager done mostly with the motorcycles that are hard to see and easy to hide from motorists.. Most heavy around the high schools. They also share and dont forgive. I beat both my tickets because I could prove my car could NOT go as fast as they said and they watched and followed me like crazy forcing me to sell my car. ALSO check STOCKTON for some more Lodi traps entered incorrectly for the city!

Highway 99 on the west frontage Rd. at Armstrong Rd. onramp.

A CHP car sits on the side of the frontage road clocking vehicles on the highway and also watches for those who don’t stop at the 4way stop on the frontage road and Armstrong Rd. It is there at random times.
