Malibu Rd & Malibu Colony Dr
On PCH going east down the hill, a cop stakes out near the entrance to the shopping center where the Ralph’s/CVS/Malibu Yo are. He is using radar and is very sneaky, go slow when going down the hill.
Webb Way & Civic Center Way
At the intersection of Webb Way and Civic Center Way CHP will stake out at night to catch people failing to make a complete stop. They usually hide out on the east side of the intersection near a few 100 feet away. LOOK OUT!
State Highway Pacific Coast Highway
South of Malibu Canyon on the southbound side the speed limit is reduced from 50 mph to 45 mph while there is a steep downhill slope. A motorcycle cop sits with a radar gun around the curve to the right at an entrance to the mall there. I’ve seen him there on numerous occasions and have seen cars pulled over. I always watch my speed here.
State Highway Pacific Coast Hiway near Latigo Canyon Road Street
On PCH, southbound, on the long sloping hill down towards
Coral Beach, the officers hide on Latigo Shores Drive, which runs parallel to the highway. Almost every day I see someone getting ticketed there.
State Highway 101 near Pepperdine University
Driving West Bound, down hill, on PCH from Malibu Canyon Rd (Pepperdine) towards Santa Monica, as you approach Webb (Ralph�s Market on R/H side) & Civic Center Way, the LA Co Sheriffs sit on their motorcycles (on R/H side of Hwy) with hand held Radar Guns & WILL cite for exceeding the posted limit by as little 3 MPH.
