Foam St
Speed limit along Foam St is 25 MPH after coming off the Presidio curve which is 35. Cops love to watch during home bound rush hour and especially during the late evening and pre bar closing looking for any excuse to pull people over to check them out.
Fremont Street
Fremont Ave headed into Monterey; usually Motorcycle cop will sit at entrance to cemetary after the top of the hill between first and second stoplights. People tend to speed here because they’ve just come off Highway 1 and it’s 3 lanes wide (narrows to two lanes just past where the cops like to wait).
Pacific Ave, Downtown Monterey,Anywhere around the Presidio of Monterey DLI,Franklin St
The traps seem to be set up on weekends and the 2 motorcycle cops move them constantly all around the Defense Language School and Downtown Monterey. The roads leading out of the school are steep hills and the speed limit is only 25.They like to hide around the bend on Pacific Ave and catch you going down the hill.
