North Hollywood, California Speed Traps

Officer parked in patrol car 1 block south on Whitsett and Sherman Way (Gault Street). You can’t really see him because he looks parked and hidden at the end of the block. Using a laser beam, he can capture speeds from south and north side traffic.

Officers parked on north and south side of Coldwater Canyon pointing lasers. Usually hiding behind a large vehicle or at an angle so they can’t be seen because of the way the street turns.

Motor Unit parks behinde cars or in shady drive ways making him non visable. He is there everyday during traffing hours.

Four Pedal Bike officers are riding their bikes on the sidewalk looking for motorists talking on their phones or texting to other officers about drivers not wearing seat belts. For the most part I have seen them twice a week for the past 2 months. Be careful!

South corner of Babcock Ave and Victory Blvd .Two motorcycle cops standing behind some small trees aiming their laser guns at the traffic going East bound on Victory!They direct you to make a right turn onto Babcock ave and procede to cite you.I was the second motorist pulled over.I even took pictures.
A speed trap is illegal if it is not backed-up by a speed zone survey done within five years of your violation.
