On Interstate 580-W, from about the Keller Avenue offramp (#25) to High Street (#27), the California Highway Patrol seems to monitor speed on Sunday mornings.

Keller Street near Hanson/Skyline Blvd
Oakland police department motor cycle cops. About 3 motor cycle cops were about 10 yards from a Stop sign. They stopped a car that was ahead of me and pulled my car over as a group. My car was about 2 car links behind the main car they pulled over. I asked the officer if I could see the speed I was going and he looked down at the Radar and said "I must have deleted it" Go figure!
73rd Avenue near Bancroft Avenue
Police officers hover on bancroft avenue and patrol up and down 73rd avenue. When a car comes down 73rd, a patrol car swoops around the corner and pulls the car over, usually either further down 73rd Avenue toward International Blvd. or at the gas station on the corner of 73rd and BancroFort Police have been seen harassing residents and it is not uncommon to see 3 or 4 police clustered in one area e.g. the gas station and issuing citations simultaneously.
Park Boulevard near Liemert Avenue
Speed limit on Park Boulevard is 35 MPH. Park is a 4-lane divided roadway affording major access between the Oakland flats and the Oakland hills. Police hide in alleyways and in private driveways with radar and motorcycles during PM commute ticketing uphill as well as downhill traffic.
