Meats Avenue near Santiago Avenue
Heading west on Meats coming down the hill you will find a motorcycle cop hanging out on the left just after the nursery and before Santiago Ave. The speed limit is 45. Be careful though because the speed limit changes immediatley once you cross Santiago to 35mph.
Meats Avenue near Tustin Avenue
Traveling west on Meats from Santiago the speed limit is 35mph. As you go up and over the 55 Fwy be careful not to go over the limit the motorcycle cops hang out behind a small wall on the left hand side by the jewelry store and optical office just before Tustin Ave.
Chapman Street near Rampart Street
Traveling westbound on Chapman Ave you will pass The City Drive where UCI medical is located on your right. The 5 South is on located on your right, and Rampart is the first signal following. This street connects to Orangewood where the Angle’s Stadium is located. There are brand new apartments that have been built on Chapman & Rampart. From Rampart to the next signal which would be the 57, two motorcycle cops hide at Motel 6. They sit in the dirted area where the truck drivers park their vehicles. At this section of street most due 45 or plus, there are 4 lanes. I was clocked at 56 in a 40. This area is strictly enforced due to the new apartments. Be careful, they will make sure they pull you over before you try to make it onto the freeway!
Santiago Canyon Road near Amapola Street
Usually motor officer at the cemetery entrance or the entrance to Broadmor development.
Eastbound LaVeta Avenue
The I-5 overcrossing has a downhill drop from the top of the overcrossing. Motorcycle cops sit at the bottom of the hill and clock you coming down. If you don’t ride the brakes gravity will pull your car up to 55 mph without touching the gas. Posted speed limit is 45 mph on W. end of overcrossing.
