Dinah Shore Dr. between Portola and Monterey Ave
This road is named the Dinah Shore thruway from Palm Desert to Palm Springs.
In the area above there are some new commercial bldgs near Monterey. Area posted at 45mi, whereas 50 mph is the standard for the thruway. Motorcycle cop hides around a curve. He told me had given out 16 tickets several days ago. Prevailing traffic is at least 50mph perhaps more.
On warner trail between fred waring and california
motorcycles or vehicles nearly every weekday using radar. Not so much weekends. speed limit is 30mph. watch out!
Hovley Lane East near Portola Ave.
Motorcycle or Patrol Policeman waits at school parking lot for speeders breaking the 25mph school zone, during class session. Has radar gun so avoid during 8am to 3pm hours.
Warner Trail near Fred Waring Drive
Heavy traffic street posted at 30MPH. I see motorcycle officer parked almost everytime I’m on the street (at least twice a week). Lots of side streets and bushes to hide behind. Even saw one in a driveway a couple of times.
