There is sometimes a CHP cruiser underneath the bridge @ Cook Street off the I-10 in Palm Desert.

Monterey Avenue near Fred Waring Drive
Frequently spotted police motorcycles and cars along the old horse riding acadamy. High tickting road clear out to the 10 freeway.

Interstate 10 near Cook Street
On Thanksgiving Day a patrol car was parked on the entry ramp to Interstate 10 East at the Cook St. entrance. The police vehicle would not have been visible to those driving on the I-10 already.

Cook Street near Fred Waring Drive
On Cook St. Between Hwy 111 and Merle Drive. Includes part of Indian Wells. Every weekday morning several Motorcyle Patrol and Police cars patrol this section due to school zone at Palm Desert, High School. Motorcyles hide behind bushes on East side of street across from High School near Fred Waring Drive.
