Pasadena, California Speed Traps

The road has a large curve, and it is downhill. The motorcycle officers line up sometimes 3 deep in driveways surrounded by foliage. The speed limit is only 30mph, and it is a main thoroughfare.

Motorcycle Cop is hiding in Gelsons (Paseo Colorado) driveway next to foliage where he can’t be seen and faces northbound Marengo with his radar gun.This street also has red light camers a couple blocks north

Traveling East bound on Corson between Wilson and Hill the officers are on Foot with Radar, when you are caught speeding he will step in front of your vehicle with his hand up and stop you. He has also been seen at the same location standing at the freeway off ramp looking for those not wearing a set belt.

I’ve seen this pair at work several times. Two motorcycle cops: one tucked in a driveway with radar gun, the other the pursuer. Steadily the tandem picks off unwary westbound speeders.
