Rio San Diego Drive near Qualcomm Way
The cops sit at a cross street, at a stop sign. if you are traveling east on rio san diego towards the ikea and costco. before you get to fenton pkwy.. they dont usually get the speeders but they get for not stopping all the way at the stop sign. i sit in my apt. and see about 15 people getting pulled over in matter of minutes..
Interstate 5 near Interstate 52

State Route 125 near Grossmont College Drive
On State Route 125 just north of Navajo Road (yes, they wait before Navajo too), the police will wait in the merge lane of the offramp to Grossmont College with radar/laser, while a second cop will wait on the on-ramp from Grossmont College Drive to catch the person. It is also done with one cop waiting on the on-ramp, and another waiting around the turn on the right median of the freeway.

The newly completed 125/52 interchange attracts many hwy patrolers. If youre on 125 anywhere between the 52 and the 8 youre not safe! Going north or south, teams of 2 or more cops are set up under the bridge by grossmont hospital or hiding below the grade on 125 N at 52.
