Santa Maria, California Speed Traps
Hwy. 101, Both directions, Between Santa Maria and Santa Barbara
I drive through this area a few times a week, traveling south on the 101 away from Santa Maria to the 154. It is hell for speeders – do Not speed here. I always, without fail, see at least 1 or 2 cops and someone pulled over. I travel between 4:30 PM and 6 PM.

Remote area between cities where travelers like to speed. Heavily patroled. Lots of Oak trees and turn outs for CHPs to monitor traffic. Generally see at least one or two tickets getting handed out when I drive through that spot.
