Santa Rosa, California Speed Traps
State Highway 12 near State Route 101
On Highway 12 betwen 101 and Fulton Road. State police park hidden on access roads.
Fountaingrove Parkway near Fountaingrove Parkway
Fountaingrove Parkway has an unrealistic speed limit of 35 miles per hour considering it is a fairly open area with no schools , etc. It has a fairly steep grade up one side and down the other, so, it takes considerable braking to remain at 35 mph. A more realistic limit would be 45 mph.
West College Avenue near Halyard Drive
Motorcycle cops hide behind the trees, they’re difficult to see even from up close
Hearn Avenue near Stony Point Road
Cop hides in driveway of yellow house between Hearn Park and Stony Point.
Laguna Road near Mariannis Drive
Speed limit is 45 then changes to 35mph in the trap zone. Many people are traveling around 50 mph when they hit the 35 mph zone, making it an expensive ticket. It happened to me Twice!
