Simi Valley, California Speed Traps

Unsafe lane changes and motorists speed to freeway on ramp up a hill. Also, the only corner that has "No Right turn on red" cops pull over 5 to 6 at a time going around the corner on a red light.

Kadota comes off (north) on Cochran St. between Tapo St. and Stearns St. Motorcycle cop hides there most mornings. I was taking my son to school (Pinecrest). I deserved the ticket – but the cop told me if I had been in the inside lane and not in the lane next to the sidewalk he would have let it go.

Police car will hide in KMart parking lot watching speeders and cars crossing over limit lines at light coming eastbound of Tiera Rejada. Usually coming out of nowhere. Officer Trujillo loves to write tickets around 5:00 to 6:00 when traffic is heavy!

Traveling Northbound from Royal to LA Ave with Park on East side from blind curve at Heywood cross st. Both police car or motorcop will hide under the mature trees in the dark before 0600 hrs watching the 40MPH speed. Also do NOT turn right on on RED going E & W cross sts from Heywood & Sycamore. This cross st is south of the Christmas House on Sycamore. Be careful!

This is a Left turn lane trap. The traffic on Sterns bottlenecks from the High School traffic in the AM. If you enter the center divider more than 200ft before the left turn lane they will get you. They sit just south of Cochran on the left as you head north.
