Stockton, California Speed Traps
Motorcycle officer sits on the sidewalk on the west side of El Dorado in front of the store. El Dorado has pretty fast paced traffic and if your not paying attention you will get caught up in the flow. However the posted limit is 30 and about 1 mile past Eighth street it changes to 50. So be carefull and pay attention
CHP parks vehicle on West Lane between Eight Mile Rd and Armstrong Rd. CHP vehicle/motorcycle not visible until you come upon the curve in road.
driving twords 1-5 over the bridge past brookside rd. over the bridge were the side streets intersect with pershing (the fork), theres a motorcycle cop that i see there alot. almost nailed me once.
At least 2x per week enforcement of southbound Pershing Avenue from 7a to 10a. Motorcyle officer sits at walkway entrance to Haggin Museum, hiding behind parked cars. 30 MPH posted and realistic speed limit. Between 10 am and 1 pm northbound traffic monitored. Motorcycle officer sits at Vine and Pershing and hard to detect.
High speed commuter route. CHP motor will hide by vineyard about 1 mile E of Collegiville. Mot or is also veryy effective between Jack Tone and Escalon Bellota because he is hard to see. Too many idiot commuters at high speed. Also watch out for SAC County Sheriff coming off of Dodds. Lives in Oakdale and can enforce speed anywhere. Usually only goes after passers and 75-80+.
