Officer on motorcycle, usually Ventura County Sheriff, parks behind sign on North side of Thousand Oaks Blvd. Radar points West, capturing traffic going West. Prima facie speed (speed posted on signs and painted on street) is 35 mph. Road is 5 lanes wide, with street parking on both sides (making the total width of the steet 7 lanes wide). I have photographs of concealed patrolman, sign, and street at the point of the speed trap.
Westlake Boulevard near Shaver Road
Morotcycle facing NB traffic at entrance to apartments 0.2 mi past Rainfield Ave. hearing toward Avenida De Los Arboles hidden around corner.

Motorcycle at intersection facing southbound traffic is hidden by arc of the road. By the time you’re around the bend, you’re had.

Thousand Oaks Boulevard near State Route 23
Motorcycle cops with laser. I received a ticket for 50 in a 35. Beat the ticket by written declaration, stating the traffic survey is invalid due to violations of Chapter 8 of the CalTrans manual and due to the time of day the survey was conducted.
