Broomfield, Colorado Speed Traps
Motorcycle cop on side of road just over hill.
Traveling south from 144th is a down hill grade and momentum takes you above the 35 mph. Motorcycle police hide in subdivision side roads as well as in front of medians
Speed limit drops dramatically from 55 to 35 and police hideout as you
are going downhill and nab you.
Westbound: I have seen two speed traps along the newly redesigned 136th Ave, west of Huron. One at about Kalamath Street, the other around 136th Ave and Quivas Street (before you get to the new King Soopers). Both involved cars on the side streets, partially obscured by trees .
Northbound: I have seen a motorcycle cop on Quail Creek Drive (street is immediately past the new King Soopers, and leads to a park/baseball diamond), partially obscured by sign.
