Belleview, Florida Speed Traps

As you come off of the overpass coming into Belleview, cops will park in the empty Waffle House Parking lot and catch speeders. The speed limit drops as you come off the bridge.
At times a cruiser will park in the median just off the bridge with lights off waiting to pick speeders before they hit the light at the Hwy. 301 intersection.

The speed limit on this short stretch of road (leading to Hwy. 25 is 35MPH. That’s 10MPH less than the traffic that feeds in from Hwy.441. The Belleview Police and sometimes the Sheriff officers hide just off the road beyond the curve.
