Boca Raton, Florida Speed Traps

Radar generally set up on east side of Military Trail about 1/4 mile north of SW 18th St. 40mph speed limit rigorously enforced but trap only erratically set up but more often during snow bird season. They get customers by the handful because the stretch of Military here is free of lights and cross traffic for 1/2 mile

Northbound on Federal Highway just before Camino Real. Speed limit is 45 then suddenly changes to 35, they sit with parking lights on in the left turn lane for camino. You can’t see them going around the curve but they get you.

Several Motorcycle cops (sherriff Dept) Sit 100 feet before on the north east corner or Cain Blvd and Glades road When heading on Glades west. THey may also sit on the south side getting you heading east, before the tennis academy, 2/10 mile before 441. Never got me, but waive lots of people over for their quota.

They usually wait by the church and hide…The cops are usually out during AM drive, but expect to see them any time, any day whaen the weather is good and they need to make their quota

This trap is located on Military Trail between Palmetto Park Rd. & Verde Trail. An officer stands at the entrance to Paradise Palms which is Bethel Blvd. and targets northbound traffic on Military. You can’t see him until it’s too late.
