Jacksonville, Florida Speed Traps

With all of the construction at I-10 and Chaffee Rd folks are coming up Crystal Springs and turning on Blair to go thru to Normandy Blvd or from Normandy to Crystal Springs. This entire road is 35 mph and it is patrolled daily for speeders and the Troppers are parking in the vicinity of the power lines where there is like a mini curve just enough to obscure your vision if you are going north to Crystal Springs.

Police sometimes hide in the middle island and radar on coming traffic in front of NAS JAX.

The road is a split road. On one side it is 35mph posted on the side by the school it is 30mph posted. The motorcycle cops sit under the shade trees and wait or they are on a side street and will walk out and pull you over. There is no set time , they are there in the mornings and afternoons. I have not been busted but they get a lot of people.Usually they have two oe three cars pulled over.

Usually at night, They hide out front of the Eastside Church near Hodges, very dark there. Speed limit is 45 mph, but the majority of the area are three empty lanes each way, very easy to find yourself going 60.
