Kissimmee, Florida Speed Traps

Going westbound, will sit right after the off ramp for Disney World entrance. Behind sign and bush. No lights, sometimes talking to another police officer. Construction area, normal speed limit 50 m.p.h. with construction it’s 45 m.p.h. usually won’t ticket you if you are UNDER 55. Sometimes they will sit with no lights in the center of the highway on the median under the over pass of World Dr.

North and South bound ,pleasant hill rd at stewart ..Limit is 45mph..Motors usually sit on stewart , will flag you down

N side of the roadway , West bound traffic..they sit in the parking lot of funeral home and flag you down as you approach and use the lot to write the tickets

Northbound traffic on Polynesian Isle Boulevard has a 30 MPH limit from 192 to Barefoot Path. Southbound traffic has a 40 MPH limit through about a 1/4 mile of the same zone (is reduced to 30 MPH at Images Cir.) Road travels through an underpass within this dual speed limit zone, where motorcycle patrol regularly hides behind the overpass and only targets northbound traffic. Very confusing speed limits, even to the locals in the highly tourist area, lead to a high number of people pulled over.

Officers will be on cycles on the side of john young pkwy so be careful they sit under some trees facing oncoming traffic they also hide on cypress pkwy by the new wal mart shopping center in poinciana,state troopers,osceola sheriff’s some where on that road in the early commute they are there they come out of the gas station on your right hand side and by the denny’s parking lot.Their is also another speed trap passed the pleasant hill heights area on JYP, both right and left hand side of road on side streets and side walks cant really see them till your right on them so if you missed the first one dont get to happy because there’s more just up ahead their fav spot is on a street called Granada on your right hand side going towards kissimmee or for people who dont much of this area is coming from poinciana towards kissimmee and reverse both ways.so be careful and keep your eyes open, they are out there.
