Usually one and often two Motorcycle officers sit on North side of Lakeshore drive just West of Partin Settlement Road in empty lot obscured by bushes and monitor vehicle traffic speeds. Drivers often pulled over (two or three sometimes) and given substantial fines dependent on speed overages. Speed drops from 45 mpj to 30 mph in short distance.

Michigan Avenue near State Highway 192

Kissimmee, FloridaJun 08, 20070 Comments

Coming down a long hill on Michigan Ave, two blocks North of Hwy 192, officers stand with hand held radar on the side street. They stand far enough to the side to blend in with the trees and shrubs and pop out into the street to wave over cars onto the side street to be ticketed. They could have cars or motorcycles and be there at any time during daylight hours. Michigan is only a couple miles long and this is one of three regular traps I know of in that few miles.

Michigan Avenue near Osceola Parkway

Kissimmee, FloridaJun 01, 20070 Comments

When traveling on Michigan Avenue about 1/4 mile from/to Osceola Pkwy, officers hide in the Merita parking lot driveway. Speed limit is 40 mph. They clock you no matter which way you are going. As soon as you pass the Merita store they pull up right behind you.

State Route 192 near Sera Lago Road

Kissimmee, FloridaJul 06, 20060 Comments

Approximately 1/2 mile east of Old Town Sheriffs cars will be parked in the center of the divided hwy with lights out. Most of the time they are parked so they can clock the west bound traffic. This is very common early morning 4am to 6am. Cruisers sometimes will be parked in the entrance to a motel on the north side of 192 as well.
