I-4 @ SR 528

Orlando, FloridaFeb 06, 20030 Comments

I was going NB on I-4 but cops must have gotten a bunch of new Laser guns and they seem to pop up NB or SB at any time particularly south of the construction zone there. I got nailed @72 as the speed limit changes from 65 to 55, by a 2 wheeler. At least he didn’t tell me he was out there for my safety.

Princeton Rd. EastBound

Orlando, FloridaJan 26, 20030 Comments

Going eastbound between Edgewater and Formosa (just before I4). Motorcyle OPD stay in middle lane in front of Princeton Elementary School. Lots of trees provide shadows that hide their presence.

Dean Rd.

Orlando, FloridaDec 05, 20020 Comments

Orange County Sheriff’s motorcycle cops sit on the West side of Dean on a side street between the Little Econ and Colonial ticketing South bound speeders. The posted limit is 45mph and it’s real easy to do 55 or 60.

Universal Blvd (around Pointe Orlando)

Orlando, FloridaOct 26, 20020 Comments

Orange county sherrifs sit in the cross overs between the dividers. Speed limit goes from 45 to 35 to 25 fairly rapidly. They are hiding behind bushs and tagging cars w/ the laser as they come around the corner and then jump out in front of your car to pull you over. On 10/28/02, the “gentleman”” (I use this term loosely) who “”assisted”” us informed us that they will be there a lot b/c of speeding complaints they’ve received. “

I-4 Near Univeral Studios Orlando. access roads

Orlando, FloridaOct 11, 20020 Comments

I was leaving Universal Studios, motorcycle cops were sitting under an overpass. When entering access road to I-4 posted speed is 50, then immediately drops to 45. Totally rediculous speed limit should be posted at least 50 to 55. Speed limits signs are few and far between. Welcome to Orlando we will take what money you have leFort Sorry for the extra commentary. Hope this saves someone $120.00 bucks.
