Panama City Beach, Florida Speed Traps
Fl 79 North of West Bay Bridge
the road is divided 4 lane and the speed drops from 65 to 55 to 45 in less than a mile..impossible to do that unless standing on brakes..actually this is the 2nd place along that road South of Ebro the highway posted speed drops rapidly. This is near the new airport also.
NW Florida Beaches Int’l Airport
The entrance/exit to the new airport is long and wide with a posted 45mph speed limit. An experienced driver would by instinct go faster if unaware of the limit. It’s actually difficult to go 45mph and an experienced driver would need to make a conscience effort to do so. Nonetheless, the airport police have unmarked cars with radar taking advantage of the situation and ruining many people’s travels. What a welcome to Panama City Beach!
