Saint Augustine, Florida Speed Traps

St. Augustine Police Department establishes a speed trap just north of Winn Dixie/Arnold’s Bar. The speed limit is forty five and there are no businesses or residences beyond this point for some distance. This speed trap is established almost daily and the officers remain out of site by parking on the north side of the Old Harley Davidson building.

St. Augustine Police Department consistantly sits at the north end of San Marco Ave. where it joins U.S. Hwy. 1. The speed limit is twenty five miles per hour and drivers are ramping up to enter a 45 mile an hour speed zone on U.S. Hwy. 1 North.

May Street is part of A1A North commencing at the Carosel on San Marco Ave running easterly to Vilano Beach. Part of the Road is a causeway and high rise bridge. In the two mile street the speed limit changes three times.
