Saint Augustine, Florida Speed Traps

St. Augustine Police Department consistantly sits at the north end of San Marco Ave. where it joins U.S. Hwy. 1. The speed limit is twenty five miles per hour and drivers are ramping up to enter a 45 mile an hour speed zone on U.S. Hwy. 1 North.

St. Augustine Police Department establishes a speed trap just north of Winn Dixie/Arnold’s Bar. The speed limit is forty five and there are no businesses or residences beyond this point for some distance. This speed trap is established almost daily and the officers remain out of site by parking on the north side of the Old Harley Davidson building.

A group will sit on the World Golf Village overpass targeting 95 south bound traffic. I live in the area and see this often.

They set up in the entrance to the Amphitheater in Anastasia State Park. Usually checking cars in the northbound lane. Usually catching the morning traffic but I’ve seen them there at other times of day.
