Saint Augustine, Florida Speed Traps
Eastbound on the downslope of the 312 Bridge
This one’s been a St. Augustine standard forever. The speed limit is 50 going over the bridge but the steep downgrade means that if you’re going 50 up the bridge, you have to be braking the whole way down the other side or else you’ll drift above posted limit. They sit right on the other side of the curve.

in the west bound shoulder just past the conqestidors condos. he is there early in the am and later in pm.
Kings Road
Deputies usually hide in drive way of an unoccupied house and get you going both ways on Kings Road. It is a residental neighborhood, but it is a fairly straight shot from Oakbrook subdivision. You don’t know the deputy is there until he steps out in front of you, then you get a big ticket.
HWY 207 East of I-95
Sheriff department vehicles and FHP position their vehicles mostly on the South side of 207 and are usually hidden due to heavy woods in that area. Speed limit is 45 MPH and they always have an abundance of vehicles pulled over when they set up their trap.
Pope Rd between Mizell & A1A
Multiple St Johns County Motorcycle cops hide under the trees on the south side of the road and pull people over without their lights and sirens, so you don’t see them until they walk out in front of you. The speed limit is 25MPH and there have been several occasions that they have 4-6 cars pulled over at the same time. Usually during the lunch time and rush hours.
