Office sits on either 43-47 Avenue… Blocks 4100-5400 is notorious for speed traps during the morning hours, 8am-10am, Crusier sits while shooting PROLASER III Lidar gun ( EFFECTIVE AT ABOUT 1,300 FT!) Radar detectors USELESS unless within 700ft range WHILE LIDAR is shooting at car ahead of yours. Use caution since there is a slight hill on 16th street North and officers sit below the hill. Sometimes patrolled during After High School Hours to target lead foot Teens.
34th St S at Gibbs High
In plain sight, on the Northbound side… AFTER the school zone… watch.. they line up, and have one guy standing on the sidewalk… picking speeders that rip thru the zone.
west bound gandy bridge,st pete side
Two traps…one unmarked on right side of BRIDGE 1 mile before it ends onto causeway. Unmarked older vehicle with plainclothes with handheld battery unit standing beside unlit car. actually dangerous for them as side lane on bridge is so narrow. Second at end of bridge usually county but sometimes FHP. Get you as you come off bridge. Hard to see end of bridge as there is a dip.
I-275 for 2-3 miles north of Sunshine Skyway Bridge
FL State trooper sits in I-275 median and pops cars in north and southbound lanes.
49th st 20th ave N.
A patrol parks perpendicular to the 49th street N a few blocks before you reach 22th ave N.
