Pinebrook Road near Venice Avenue

Venice, FloridaJul 19, 20070 Comments

Anywhere on Pinebrook after the intersection of Edmondson heading tword Venice ave. A lot of patrols and speed control checkers placed on side of road. It’s a county road with homes far from road and speed limit is ridiculous. Do not go over 30 on this road. Look to the right, the police hide in the tree coverings and bushes. Also remember the police station is right near there.

Harbor Drive near Near Venice Airport

look for Police Car w/radar hidden in trees nabbing southbound traffic near Sharkey’s Restauant, west of Airport. Speed Limit is an unrealistic 30 mph on a road leading to a golf course and a dead end.

US Highway 41 near Jacaranda Boulevard

Word of advice: DO NOT SPEED ON A SUNDAY. Sunday is ticket heaven here in Florida. Time of day was 9 a.m/Empty/few cars on road. Was doing 25+ over 45 limit. WARNING: During this time of day the sun had a big glare on the road. Perfect for sheriff and horrible for you to see. Another word of advice don’t speed when there is big glare on the road they know this and use to their advantage. This is a mile or so after Jacaranda between Jacaranda and River Rd. intersection on a straight. FHP crown vic was parked right in the middle on the grass facing my vehicle. The byach used a stalker dual ka/k radar probably for both northbound and south. Came out of nowhere she must of been hidden by all that glare.
