On Hwy 411
Though Fairmount is an extremely tiny town, they now have two police cars waiting at one time on Hwy 411. They give the impression of a town looking to produce as much revenue as possible via tickets. No consideration is given as to whether you are trying to obey all laws; they just write tickets. Also, the speed limit sign that used to be by the IGA grocery store has been missing for a very long time, leaving us to guess that we are still allowed to increase our speed to 45mph at that point.
