Gwinnett Police use VASCAR to clock you between Jimmy Carter Blvd and Indian Trial with a Helicopter for some reason they like Thursday nights, you get pulled over between Indian Trail and Beaver Ruin rd. This is a construction zone so they can pull you over for just a few miles over.

Sugarloaf Parkway near Interstate 85N

Gwinnett, GeorgiaJul 12, 20060 Comments

As traffic is turning left off of Satellite Blvd, proceeds under the I-85 overpass towards the intersection of Brown(?) and Sugarloaf, and passes through the intersection, two officers await those coming over the slight hill, in the turning bay on the right, as you would turn right for the AMC theatre. I usually have to accelerate some to make it over the hill, then there is a downward slope. One officer had the laser trained on vehicles while the other stepped into the lane to point out the vehicle allegedly speeding. I didn’t think I had time to get up to the speed I was ticketed for. My daughter didn’t feel I was going that fast either.
