Speed zone drops from 50 to 30 in a very short distance. Officer are not welcoming to reasoning either.
State Highway 113 near High School
Coming into Braidwood from Custer park on Hwy 113, the squad cars sit on the left side of the road from the High School by the car wash in order to catch the HS students speeding. BUT they can radar you coming into the town/or leaving, even though the road bends away form the school.
State Highway 113 near Church
Goign East on Hwy 113 and coming up to the stop sign in order to turn onto Maint Street/Hwy 113 there is sometimes a squad car sitting in the parking lot of the church. They are able to radar you down the WHOLE stretch of 113 before you come to the stop sign. So unless you have a radar detector beware.
State Route 129 near Coal City Road
Between Coal City Road and the town of Godley, Braidwood police, as well as county cops sit along the road, or travel on the road. Enforcing the Speed limits heavily, so watch out
