Bull Valley, Illinois Speed Traps

The entire village of Bull Valley is a notorious speed trap. It is the little town’s main source of revenue. If you do not like to crawl along, do not even think of travelling in Bull Valley without a radar detector.

Bull Valley police Department are all over this road, but the southern end imparticular. They will sit very well hidden behind a row of bushes on the east side of the road watching Flemming and or Country Club. But be careful I’ve hear a few times of Bull Valley refusing to show people their radars. They may be just making up your speeding, hoping you weren’t paying attention.

Officer is backed up in some gravel north of cherry valley rd just down the hill on bull valley rd. The speed limit is 40 but you pick up speed going own the hill and then he has got you. 5 mile overs makes his day

Careful when heading East on Bull Valley from the Fleming Road intersection. Limit is marked 35 as you head down a steep hill. Officer will sit at the bottom of the hill (at the curve) tucked in a private drive & catch you as you coast down the hill! 1 or 2 mph over is plenty to make his day!
