Bull Valley, Illinois Speed Traps
North Valley Hill Road near Bull Valley Road
Officer is just off the Road in the bushes. If you are driving South on Valley Hill Road you will to see them untill you are over a hill and you are caught.
Cherry Valley Road
From Bull Valley Rd heading south on Cherry Valley. 1/2 mile down the road the road you go through an "S" turn. Dead smack in the center of the "S" is a well hidden dirt trail that leads up a small hill where sitting in the weeds the cop can see you coming Northbound without being seen himself. It’s a even worse if you’re coming south from Bull Valley, because you come around the curves and see the "coast is clear" and then he’s right there waiting for you. The worst part is (I know first hand) is that by the time he gets back down the trail and back to the main road you’re already turning on Mason Hill and have no idea where he came from. If you’re traveling through Bull Valley you better be in the General Lee, cuz that’s the only way you don’t get tickets driving through Hazard County on a regular basis!
State Highway 120
The village has 3 or 4 officers, and has been annexing new land over the last several years in a way that makes it difficult to travel in the county without going through a stretch of Bull Valley, and the police will pull you over even if they catch you speeding outside there jurisdiction and slowing down as you come into their territory.
