Energy, Illinois Speed Traps

Energy is a small town between Herrin and Marion Ill. Speed limitgoes from 40mph down to 30mph the town is small so if you blink you’re through it. cops like to sit out of the way….headquarters sit right on highway

4-lane highway with 30 MPH through town, Energy is virtually surrounded by larger town of Herrin which has reasonable speed limits along highway.I have never not seen an Energy police car along this highway late night
