Lake / Euclid Street near River Road
Cook County cop will sit in the Forest Preserve and take radar close to the Des Plaines river. If traveling East you cannot see him until you are over the bridge and by then it is too late. Traveling west you cannont see him until he sees you.
Lake Avenue east of Waukegan Road
Cops regularly patrol this stretch of four lane undivided highway. The speed limit is set artificially low at 35, but the traffic flow often does 10+ over the limit, so beware. Also, be sure to stay close to the 30 mph limit which is in place between Ridge Road and Green Bay Road on the Wilmette portion of this road.
