U.S. Route 6, 3 miles east of Morris
Approx. 3 to 4 miles east of Morris, on Route 6, there is an unfinished turn-off to the south, screened on both sides by large bushes. Grundy County Sheriffs’ will sit there invisible, until you pass in front of them.
Lisbon Rd, between Rt. 6 and I-80
Coming south on Lisbon Rd, speed drops to 25 mph crossing I-80. There is a quarter mile downslope starting there, and you cannot do 25 mph without braking. An unmarked silver Explorer (aka: ‘The Silver Bullet’), sits facing north, shooting radar. It is a major money producer. 10 to 20 tickets a day, average.
N. Lisbon Road near The FS buildings between Airport and Minooka roads
Police will sit during the day up by the buildings so you don’t notice them. Police will sit in the driveway at night just far enough off the road that you will not hit their reflectors with your lights. When the corn is up they will sit behind the corn with their window rolled down listening for you. You will have no idea they are there until they pull out after you.
Pine Bluff Road near Dresden Road
The county squads like to sit at the top of the hill in the Pine Bluff Animal Hospital parking lot and watch for cars that do not come to a complete stop at the intersection of Pine Bluff Road and Dresden Road. Make sure that you stop. Always look up the hill for them.

From rt 47 on pine bluff, after you make it thru the two subdivisions, you make a left and go over a small bridge, about a 3/4 mile up from that is a township building on the leFort They sometimes sit between the building and a fence, ot in the lot infront of the building, by the time you see/slow down… usually to late.
