Naperville, Illinois Speed Traps
School zone speedtrap, unmarked units, and motorcycles sit on side streets or in school lot and shoot through traffic. They are very consistant in their presence and enforcement during school zone times, both AM and PM. Watch for the flashing school zone signs, if they are on ,the NPD is there.
Cedar Glade Rd. that runs between the Mcdonalds off Rt 59 and 95th street, The road passes through Pioneer park, and has a three way stop. Park Police will sit in the parking lot behind Nequa Gold, and stop people for speeding and not completley stopping at the sign. Just take the light at 59/95th and save youself the trouble
Construction zone on the stretch of Naper Plainfield from Boughton to 95th. I believe they are hiding in the water filtration plant. Watch the speed, they are brutal, no matter what the traffic flow, even if there is no construction going on. It’s a minimum $375 fine and they are EXTREMELY strict!
Plain black car with window tint during the pm rush hour. There’s no bargaining with this guy. Slow down!
This area is industrial but mostly undeveloped. Heading E on Quincy from Fort Hill unmarked SUV in a lot just beyond 25 mph posting catches you with radar.
