178th Street near Big White Church
Going east or west on this road you must watch for Will County Police hiding on either side of the road just west of the big white church. Coming from the east the limit goes from 45 to 40 to 30 Before the I-80 bridge. When you come over the hill doing 40 because you are slowing they nail you for the 30. Timing you as you are going downhill adding insult to injury.
Francis Road near Cedar Street
This trap is located just west of Cedar Rd on Francis. Just after the 4-way stop cops sit on the right. It is 30 through here. A great revenue generator.

Very unreasonable 30 MPH speed limit East and West of Cedar for one mile in between 45 MPH speedlimits.
Interstate 80 near Exit Number Exit 137
State police sit in the middle of I80 between Briggs Street and RT30. I have seen on weekends as many as 7 cars pulled over in a line. They also sit on the Briggs Street off/on ramps in the same area. The speed limit is 55 on that part of I80 – not 65mph and it is STRICTLY enforced. Again, as many as 7 marked state police at one time!
State Route 6 near Cedar Road
Construction area for I355 extension. Make sure you do go over 40! With court fees it’s a $500 fine.
