Roselle, Illinois Speed Traps

Speed limit slows from 40 to 30 MPH both north and south. Policeman sits on Pine Street east of Roselle Road.

If you are traveling south on rodenburg rd over the traks thay will sit on the left side of street just after the tracks or at travis park way on the bike trail just after the house. If you are going north thay will sit on the right of you on the bike trail.

East and west bound lanes on the Elgin O’Hare Expressway. Using a Plane that operates out of the Schaumberg airport. The ISP uses a HWY marking like a bridge or overpass to mark your vehicle. Then they time how long it takes you to get to another HWY marking. If you get there too quickly they formulate a speed and radio down to waiting squad cars parked just east of the Roselle Rd. exit ramp traveling Westbound. No chance to beat this one !

Police Car will sit in Office Parking lot one block North of Irving Park Rd. on West Side on Roselle Rd. Will clock you coming to the intersection south bound or going northbound where you can’t see them.

An unmarked car will sit right before the light at irvingpark in a parking lot he usually has his parking lights on but he will sit there because the speed limit changes from 40 to 30 mph and he is also watching people coming out of Coach House Bar
