Oak Meadow Third Road near State Highway West Of Rte 83
Between Wood Dale Road and Route 83 25 Mph. Difficult to maintain that speed due to open stretch. Numerous hideaways in drives,forest preserve drive, etc.
Wood Dale Road near The Print House
The Police car will sit in the Print House driveway just far back enough so you can’t see it till your right there.
Irving Park Road near Wood Dale Train Station
They will sit in the Georgios Parking lot in a Dark Corner, and some times you will find them at a few other points a little further down irving.
Commercial Dr/Hillside Dr
Commercial / Hillside is a connector side street between Route 83 and Wood Dale Roads. The speed limit is 20 (if you can believe it) and it is enforced. The police usually park in the business parking lot just East of Wood Dale Road. They can also be down any side street. Wood Dale Police have been told to catch all speeders in Wood Dale, to make the streets safer but really it is for revenue.
They really enforce it during the school year.
290 East of 53
Black Camaro used by the State Police on 290 West, between 83 and 53. A couple of times I noticed a White Mustang GT going South on 53 between Thorndale and 290. You couldn`t tell the car apart from a civillian car at all unless you got too close. The only differences would be square holes in the tint of the rear window for the red and blue flashers, plus a couple of extra antennas.
