Woodridge, Illinois Speed Traps
Alongside this road is full of parking lots that belong to the commercial/business buildings, cops sit there and clock people going down 101st.
Speed cameras were just installed on Lemont Road at Internationale Parkway. Possibly in anticipation of Illinois passing a speed camera law for the collar counties?? Radar detector activates when within 100′ of the camera. Cameras face norbound and southbound Lemont Road. If anyone has additional info on these cameras, please post.
In small park along Woodard is the hide out behind a clump of trees they wait.
Woodridge cops will ticket you even if you are in Bolingbrook (anywhere south of 83rd Street on Janes). They think a lot of people don’t know the area- many are not from the area and are going to IKEA. I’ve seen Woodridge cops pull people over in Bolingbrook MANY times. I am sure the drivers think they are in Woodridge. If you get pulled over on Janes Avenue and you are south of 83rd Street, fight the ticket. You will win because the cop is not in his jurisdiction. I am sure they will deny this vehemently but I have personally witnessed this on numerous occasions becasuse I live in that area and am on Janes Avenue all the time.
Police are always hiding in the parking lot of Sipley school
