Fort Wayne, Indiana Speed Traps
Fairfield ave. just south of downtown.
On the south side of downtown on fairfield at the old train property. police sit in wait as you come from under the viodock. they sit and monitor. where they sit they can watch cars heading south and north alike. you will not see them till it is to late.
Interstate 69 North/South
Becarful speed traps on both sides near exit 102. This is the same exit where a busy Indiana State Police Post is located. There are always cops doing radar. I know of one specific police officer that is being rewarded with a unmarked Mustang because he has given so many tickets. He got me on 12/31/2011. I drive this route to work 3 times a week and now that I am observant I always see the state police running radar on this road.
N. Clinton St. just north of State Blvd. by the nursing home
A police car parks in the old Veterinarian office and checks traffic going north.
Where Washington and Jefferson meet to form Maumee
East end of town where Washington Blvd. and Maumee Ave. meet. Going west into town on Washington, limit drops from 45 to 35. Police sit along this one mile section in drives frequently.
Ardmore Rd near Covington Rd
Every night this week, shortly after mid-night the cops had someone pulled over in the same spot. They might sit in the bus turn around for the school or some times in between the median by the apartments. FW officers have recently been handed a new grading scale that rates them by the number of tickets they write in six months.
