Fort Wayne, Indiana Speed Traps
Fort Wayne city officers are sitting in a left turn lane that is just past the overpass that crosses I69 facing south with their turn signal on, clocking people as they crest the overpass. At night, it just looks like someone waiting to make a left turn, and you don’t realize it’s a cop until it’s too late.
Motorcycle cop stopping people before Dupont Hospital. A friend was stopped for rolling through the stop sign as she exited the 469 ramp heading north on Auburn. The cop had another person pulled over at the same time and asked her to pull in behind him. I warned everyone I knew and I had several reports that he was there most the day pulling people over, again 2 at a time.
On the south side of downtown on fairfield at the old train property. police sit in wait as you come from under the viodock. they sit and monitor. where they sit they can watch cars heading south and north alike. you will not see them till it is to late.
Had cruise control set on 60, and speed limit was 60. Received ticket for 75.
Went to court in Noble County, lost case. Used a day in court and 3 1/2 hour one-way drive. Stay out of Noble County if you can.
Becarful speed traps on both sides near exit 102. This is the same exit where a busy Indiana State Police Post is located. There are always cops doing radar. I know of one specific police officer that is being rewarded with a unmarked Mustang because he has given so many tickets. He got me on 12/31/2011. I drive this route to work 3 times a week and now that I am observant I always see the state police running radar on this road.
